1. Right of Withdrawal
If you are a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.

2. Effects of Withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we will refund all payments we have received from you – less any value compensation owed for services already rendered.
The refund will be made without undue delay and no later than fourteen days from the day on which we received your notification of withdrawal.
For the refund, we will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction – unless expressly agreed otherwise with you.

3. Commencement of Service Before the End of the Withdrawal Period
By concluding the booking, you expressly request that gegenstand.de immediately begin performing the intermediation, booking, reservation and access service.
This service includes in particular:
• the technical setup of the booking,
• the reservation of an available access point at the relevant partner or location,
• the provision of digital access details or booking information,
• payment processing,
• the technical handling and management of the booking process.

4. Value Compensation
If you withdraw after gegenstand.de has, at your express request, already started performing the service, you owe value compensation for the services rendered up to the time of withdrawal.
The value compensation in particular covers the reservation, partner, payment-processing and technical-handling costs already incurred.
These costs are flat-rate:
• One-time booking: €1.99
• “Hin & zurück” / round-trip: €2.99
For “Hin & zurück” / round-trip, the costs apply to two technically separate bookings.
The value compensation is capped at the amount actually paid for the booking.
You retain the right to prove that no costs, or substantially lower costs, were incurred.

5. Expiry of the Right of Withdrawal
For a contract for services, your right of withdrawal expires prematurely if gegenstand.de has fully performed the service and only began performance after you expressly agreed that gegenstand.de may begin performance before the end of the withdrawal period and you simultaneously confirmed that you would lose your right of withdrawal upon full performance of the contract.
Automatic cancellation after use has begun is governed by § 10 of the Terms & Conditions.
